Logo Summer Institute

The 2008 Logo Summer Institute will be held at The Spence School in New York City August 4-8, 2008.

Take some time next summer to focus on your own learning. Join us for a week of Logo exploration and creation.

Immerse yourself in Logo learning and project building. Use MicroWorlds from LCSI, and other Logo software environments. Design and build cybernetic devices of all kinds with LEGO, Pico Crickets and other robotics systems.and control them using Logo programs.

Recent Software Releases

NetLogo
NetLogo is a cross-platform agent-based parallel modeling and simulation environment.The latest version is NetLogo 4.0.2, which was released in December 2007. NetLogot is available for free download from the NetLogo web site.

StarLogo
The StarLogo team at the MIT Media Lab has announced the release of StarLogo version 2.22. A Preview of StarLogo TNG is also available. For more information and a free download go to the new StarLogo web site.

Scratch
Scratch is a new programming language that makes it easy to create your own interactive stories, animations, games, music, and art -- and share your creations on the web. Go to the Scratch web site for more information and a free download.


Robotics

The Handy Cricket
The Cricket is a tiny computer, suitable for all kinds of robotics projects, that you can program using Logo. It is now available. Click here for more information.
